Overview

Astatinn LLC provides the HireTrust service, including the public website and web portals such as the Employer Portal, Jobs Portal, and Applicant Portal. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, keep it secure, and remember choices.

This policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that we use strictly necessary cookies to keep sessions secure and operate the Portals. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the Service.

Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies).

What are cookies

  • First-party cookies are set by HireTrust.
  • Third-party cookies are set by vendors that provide analytics or other services.
  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or are deleted.

Types we use

We use the categories below across the HireTrust website and portals. The exact cookies may vary by portal and whether you are signed in.

  • Strictly necessary: required to operate the service and authenticate sessions, prevent fraud, and preserve security.
  • Functional: remember preferences and settings, such as UI choices, language, and session state.
  • Performance: help us understand how the service is used so we can improve reliability and usability. If enabled, these are configured to collect aggregate information where possible.
  • Analytics: when enabled, analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with the website and portals so we can improve the experience. This may include tools such as Google Analytics.

Analytics tools may collect information such as pages visited, time spent, click paths, and device identifiers. We configure analytics to minimize data where possible and to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information.

Google Analytics

If we enable Google Analytics, it will be used to measure site usage and improve reliability. Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling analytics cookies. You can also control analytics cookies using browser settings and Google’s opt-out tools.

  • Purpose: understand traffic and usage patterns, diagnose issues, and improve content and performance.

We do not run advertising cookies on the HireTrust public website by default. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and to configure preferences per site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the HireTrust portals from functioning correctly, including sign-in and session security features.

If we provide a cookie preference interface, you can use it to control non-essential cookie categories. Essential cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for security and core portal functionality.

Note

If you disable cookies broadly, you may not be able to sign in, maintain sessions, or access secure areas. For portals, essential cookies are required to prevent fraud and keep accounts safe.
